AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE This high-visibility individual contributor position is essential to the success of the Packaging organization. The Technical Program Manager plays a pivotal role in influencing business decisions and driving cross-functional technology initiatives. This position involves collaborating with various teams to optimize operations and processes, leading spend management efforts by analyzing financial data, conducting strategic discussions with the Business Unit, building strong relationships with the Procurement team, and driving technology integration and engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape AMD's technology and financial strategy within a dynamic and innovative environment. THE PERSON The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative leader who excels in dynamic environments. It is essential for this individual to possess strong interpersonal skills, accountability, and the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: MS in technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Physics/Optics Engineering, Material Science, or a related area, is preferred. LOCATION: Austin, TX #LI-AJ1 At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
