Summary:
The Grill Cook plays a key role in customer service and food preparation, specializing in cooking short-order items. Responsibilities include handling, preparing, presenting, and serving food while adhering to regulatory, HACCP, and CARES guidelines. The Grill Cook ensures a clean, well-stocked workspace and delivers a positive customer experience. Essential Functions: Prepare and serve menu items for the grill and deli station, ensuring timely and high-quality service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all cafeteria areas and equipment, including cooking and refrigeration units. Stock and replenish supplies as needed, including grab-and-go items, deli bar, beverages, and more, following departmental standards. Anticipate customer needs, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a friendly and professional attitude. Prepare catering orders as assigned and clean the work area after each meal. Adhere to all HACCP, regulatory, and departmental standards for food safety and quality. Notify the supervisor of concerns, discrepancies, or product shortages. Demonstrate a cost-conscious approach to product and time utilization. Flexibly adjust to schedule or job duties to meet departmental needs. Education Physical Requirements
