The Sr. Database Developer/Clinical Performance will be responsible for the creation of reports, data processes, and automation. This role uses data from a variety of UHC platforms to describe the utilization, cost and quality gaps of our members in Value Based Care (VBC) provider groups. This is a position that is highly matrixed with the UHC Population Health and Value Based Care team, Clinical Operations, and Line of Business Alignment. The person must be a self-starter and strong leader with outstanding analytical skills. The Sr. Database Developer/Clinical Performance will drive clinical relationships and engagement with internal partners (such as Health Care Economics, Medical Directors, Reporting, Health Plan market leaders) with a goal of improving health, well-being, quality and practice performance while reducing medical costs. This includes but is not limited to the reporting and tracking of improvement on total cost of care, HEDIS and STARs gap closure, coding accuracy, facilitating effective education and reporting effective super utilizer tracking (e.g., members with complex and/or chronic conditions). The Sr. Database Developer will also proactively identify performance improvement opportunities through the use of data analytics, technology, workflow changes, and clinical support. The Sr. Database Developer will develop comprehensive ACO, Health Homes, and provider-specific reporting packages to help increase physician practice performance, and improve member outcomes. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
