Summary

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and facility maintenance. This role involves leading a team of warehouse staff, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient and accurate operations to meet customer demands.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Lead and supervise a team of warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and associates.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and morale.
  • Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to meet productivity and efficiency targets.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and space.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, and cycle counting.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and timely reconciliation.
  • Manage order processing and fulfillment activities to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitor order accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, issues, and concerns.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication to meet customer expectations.



Educational background / Work experience



  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in warehouse operations management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading warehouse teams and optimizing operations.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Supervise and mentor warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and associates.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CSCP).
  • Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in warehousing.



Language skills



  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

For this position, the expected base pay is: $77,500.00- $116,500.00 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
