Job Description
Position Summary The Compliance Services Supervisor is responsible for managing the implementation and coordination of EGW's compliance services operations, and any action plans which promote growth in the compliance services division. The Compliance Services Supervisor duties include assisting in the overall management of EGW contractors which provide training and compliance services, building relationships within the natural gas services community, and staying abreast of industry compliance and training trends. Additional areas of responsibility include safety and regulatory compliance, staffing, coordination of training, contractor development, scheduling, process development & improvement, ensuring compliance services profit margin goals are achieved/exceeded, and enforcing company standards and procedures. The Compliance Services Supervisor will be the primary point of contact with customer personnel for coordinating work, ensuring overall operational efficiencies, and overseeing the quality of compliance services provided by EGW. Having an extensive knowledge of the Industry's operator qualification and training needs, governmental regulations, and maintaining industry contacts is critical to the success of this position. This position is directly responsible for leading the Compliance Services team. The Compliance Services Supervisor will assist in representing the Compliance Services division and its needs relative to company decision making and improvement initiatives. This position works closely with the Utility Solutions Group to assist in promotion and sales of the compliance services offered by EGW. This position builds strong working relationships by working closely with company managers and utilizing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) management system to aid in the identity and resolution of inter and intra-departmental issues. This position is responsible for attending and contributing to inter-organizational meetings. In this role the Compliance Services Supervisor will help solve problems, make connections, and serve others. Additionally, the Compliance Services Supervisor will strive to improve Compliance Services processes with a goal toward delivering "superior customer service." This position works closely with the Vice President of Service Delivery and all other departments to promote and inspire Extra Mile thinking and performance companywide. The Compliance Services Supervisor shall possess character, professionalism, humility, and integrity with a focus on service and support. This position reports to the Vice President of Service Delivery Supervisory Responsibility This position is responsible for all contractors within the Compliance Services division. Supervisory responsibilities may include assisting with interviewing, hiring, training employees (contractors), planning, assigning, directing work, approval of timecards, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and in the field. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and tools or equipment used in the utility industry. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Position Type and Expected Hours This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
