Lead Java Full Stack Engineer ( Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot Microservices and Java.

Oversee the implementation of REST Web Services to ensure seamless integration and communication between systems.

Utilize Postman for API testing and validation to ensure robust and reliable services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards maintaining high levels of code quality and performance.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality of the codebase.

Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications API documentation and user guides.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the organization.

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements particularly within the Payer

Qualifications

Possess a deep understanding of Postman for API testing and validation.

Demonstrate expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Have extensive experience with Java and REST Web Services.

Show proficiency in the Payer domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements.

Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Display excellent communication and collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
