Adobe's Public Sector business is poised for significant growth in 2025, with an emphasis on advancing strategic pursuits and initiatives across U.S. Defense, Federal, State/Local Government, and Canadian Federal and Provincial accounts. To drive this momentum, we are seeking aStrategic Pursuits Manager to drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and transformative execution of initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes. The Strategic Pursuits Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Pursuits, working closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and government clients to ensure alignment with Adobe's goals, optimize processes, and lead the success of complex, high-impact pursuits.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Vision and Execution Define and lead strategic pursuits for Adobe's Public Sector, ensuring alignment with growth objectives, customer needs, and industry trends. Identify opportunities to scale processes and drive measurable impact. Leadership of Key Pursuits Orchestrate critical pursuits from strategy to execution, ensuring resource alignment, stakeholder collaboration, and milestone achievement. Influence cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and prospects. Operational Innovation Design and implement frameworks to standardize workflows, optimize resource allocation, and reduce inefficiencies. Leverage data-driven insights to refine processes, mitigate risks, and accelerate pursuit success. Stakeholder Collaboration Serve as a trusted advisor to internal leaders, partners, and government clients. Build consensus among diverse stakeholders to navigate complexity and maintain focus on shared goals. Metrics-Driven Accountability Establish performance indicators and reporting systems to evaluate progress, identify opportunities, and iterate on strategies. Regularly present insights to senior leadership to guide decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of experience in strategic leadership, program management, or business development within the public sector, defense, or related industries. Demonstrated expertise in managing high-stakes initiatives, including government contracts, multi-stakeholder projects, and pursuit strategies. Familiarity with Adobe's digital experience solutions (e.g., AEM, Managed Services) and a strong understanding of public sector needs are highly desirable.
Skills
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities. Strategic thinking with a track record of designing and delivering scalable solutions. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Workfront) and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) to inform and optimize decision-making. Agility in managing competing priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and outcomes.

The Director will champion a disciplined, strategic approach that elevates Adobe's position as the trusted digital experience partner for government clients.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $140,300 -- $252,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
