Job Description

Education Consultant; We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Education Consultant to deliver engaging live and virtual training sessions on our product offering, Plex. This role will be instrumental in ensuring learners achieve proficiency through high-quality training programs, certification initiatives, and curriculum management.

The ideal candidate is an experienced trainer with a passion for curriculum development, onboarding excellence, and process improvement, capable of meeting the needs of diverse audiences in a fast-paced environment. This position is located in Troy, Michigan and you will report to our Senior Manager, Professional Services.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

• Deliver live and virtual instructor-led training sessions on the Plex tool for external customers and internal teams.
• Support designing, updating, and maintaining content for the Plex certification program.
• Support updating of onboarding processes and materials to reflect the latest product updates and training best practices.
• Support development/updating boot camp course deliverables, including agendas, learning modules, and supporting materials.
• Identify opportunities to enhance training content, delivery methods, and certification processes.
• Incorporate learner feedback and emerging trends to keep training programs innovative and effective.
• Work closely with subject matter experts, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with Plex updates and functionality.
• Partner with the Education Department leadership to ensure training programs meet organizational goals and learner needs.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of training programs, using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program performance and learner outcomes.

The Essentials -You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

The Preferred -You Might Have:

• Familiarity with the Plex tool or similar enterprise software systems.
• 3+ years of experience in delivering live and virtual instructor-led training programs, preferably in a software or technology environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning platforms.
• Certification in training delivery or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices for live and virtual training.
• Experience in curriculum development, certification programs, and instructor onboarding
