About the opportunity
SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Natural Resources Technician to support our Jacksonville, FL office. In this role, you will conduct biological field surveys, assist with data collection, data entry, and contribute to report writing for various natural resources projects. The office supports projects primarily in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, as well as across the South Region, including Texas. Our work spans multiple service areas, including renewable energy, oil & gas, transmission, site development, and ecological restoration. This position requires flexibility, as you may work long hours in challenging conditions and travel for extended periods. An employee in this Jacksonville, FL based position can expect an hourly pay rate of $18.50 to $21.32/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
