MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking a qualified transplant infectious disease physician to join our well-established academic infectious disease practices in Washington, DC. This position provides the opportunity to work with a dedicated and highly trained team of 11 attending physicians and 4 fellows. We currently offer three separate inpatient services: a General ID / ICU Service, a Musculoskeletal Service, and a Transplant Service, in addition to a fourth Tropical Medicine Service focused on outpatient care. In this setting, the individual selected will: - Play an active role in the precepting and teaching of fellows, residents, and students as a faculty member in the Infectious Disease training program. - Have the opportunity to engage with the academic mission of the Georgetown University School of Medicine, including access to faculty development programs. - Benefit from MedStar's robust resources and opportunities for supported scholarly activity.
