As the Director, Business and Marketing Strategy, Microsoft Security, you will play a vital and strategic role in creating and implementing our business and marketing strategy, goals, priorities, and metrics. This role reports to the GM, Strategy and Portfolio Marketing for Microsoft's Security business. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record and skills in business strategy and particularly marketing strategy - including market development, penetration, scaling, and strategies to drive growth. This opportunity will allow you to serve as a trusted advisor and close partner to product marketing, finance, product management and engineering, business operations, and go-to-market (GTM) planning. This role includes a variety of responsibilities,including delivering strategies and plans, shaping our long range planning (LRP), managing strategy rhythms of business, analyzing and reporting on business performance and metrics, and creating business narratives and communications. The ideal candidate will be a business-oriented, market thinker who will bring a strategic lens and frameworks to enable strategic decision making, planning, prioritization, and measuring. This individual will bring a sense of order and urgency, with a bias for thoughtful action, and have the finesse required to align stakeholders and bring others along. ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver the multi-year business plan and strategic growth framework, aligned to our long range financial plan (LRP). Lead and deliver annual business and marketing strategy and plans, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for each business priority (build trust and drive brand love, product innovation, and drive growth). Lead and facilitate strategy rhythms of business partnering closely with finance on total addressable market (TAM) refreshes and LRP updates, partnering closely with product management/engineering and product marketing on product roadmap updates and strategic initiative reviews/forums. Assist and deliver business narratives and communications, partnering closely with Chiefs of Staff and business operations on monthly executive memos, monthly and quarterly business and marketing reviews, and on board memos. Monitor and report out on business performance metrics, delivering on business scorecards and performance summaries against business and marketing plans. You willalsofunction asan advisor to senior leadership to prioritize and inform strategic business decisions, and to guide and align execution of strategic initiatives to business strategy.
