Python Developer

Job Position: Python Developer

Duration: 12 months contract to hire

Location: Hybrid role in Lake Mary, FL / Pittsburgh, PA

Looking for a developer with strong Python and data analysis skills. This person won't be building the reports, but working on the tooling, structure, and governance around them. Building CI/CD pipelines, harvesting data, and creating inventory.

• Knowledge of REST APIs in python.
• Python & Snowflake libraries
• sqlalchemy
• snowflake
• snowpark
• pandas
• thoughtspot_rest_api_v1
• Someone who have idea about decrypting PowerBI server data (although according to our findings from MSoft team, its not allowed so no workaround as such)
• Comfortable working with REST API's
• Knowledge of GitLab and GIT
• Knowledge of ThoughtSpot and Power BI backend metadata API's

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tools that support data analysis and reporting frameworks.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows.
• Harvest and integrate data from multiple sources to facilitate reporting and analytics.
• Create and maintain an inventory of data assets to improve data accessibility and compliance.
• Collaborate with data teams to establish and enforce governance standards for data quality and usage.
• Identify and implement process improvements in data management and reporting practices.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python with a focus on data analysis.
• Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (Azure).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of version control systems.
• Power BI, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
