Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer support or training.
  • Some experience with the criminal justice system preferred
  • Full time resident of Florida.
  • Valid state driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required for travel to customer sites.
  • Basic knowledge of Company products and services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Summary

Provides close, continuous support of the FL DJJ account through on-site technical support, troubleshooting, training, report analysis, and programmatic assistance and guidance. Serves as the liaison for all aspects of contract compliance and program performance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meets with Department staff as required on a formal and informal basis. Participates in on-site meetings to determine the overall health of the program and needs of the agency.
  • Analyzes, summarizes, and provides regular reports to the Department's Managers as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the identification and reporting of problem areas related to the overall program, individual Judicial Circuits and Probation Circuit Offices.
  • Provides recommendations to resolve identified problem areas and proactively works with Management, Probation Circuit Offices staff to develop and implement appropriate strategies to resolve.
  • Proactively meets with Judicial Circuit Managers and Probation Office staff as appropriate to understand program health for their area of responsibility, address problem areas, and provide recommended solutions. Reports meeting topics and outcomes to the Department Probation Office as appropriate.
  • Provides programmatic assistance to Judicial Circuit Managers and Probation Office staff by receiving and documenting programmatic updates and needs, coordinating retrieval of historical information for court purposes, and keeping appropriate staff informed of all interactions.
  • Provides training to Probation Office staff as appropriate, and as it relates to their area of responsibility.
  • Proactively identifies training needs for Probation Office staff. Coordinates and delivers training as necessary.
  • Provides 24/7/365 on-call availability to address FL DJJ emergencies or unforeseen events related to the program.
  • Stays abreast of FL DJJ policies and procedures.
  • Assists with billing-related administrative issues and price correction work in conjunction with Accounts Receivable.
  • Attends specified trade shows and Company events to assist the Sales team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
