This position is hybrid. The employee is split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Consideration for location will be One Bank Plaza, Wheeling, WV.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business and/or finance or related discipline is required.

Minimum 2 years Investment Analysis experience with a Trust Department and/or Asset Management Company is preferred.

Experience in the management of equity portfolios in a mutual fund environment is preferred.

Knowledge of equity securities and their inclusion in the Fund's portfolios.

Familiarity with fiduciary principals and prudent investing concepts.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or candidate, preferred.

Job Description

SUMMARY:

Participates in portfolio construction and ongoing portfolio management. Maintains a current body of knowledge of economic and financial market trends and conditions and their impact on portfolio construction and the mutual funds. Prepare presentations and compiles supporting information to present Fund equity investment strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in team calls to review the portfolio and market conditions.

Maintains and runs the team's quantitative investment screens.

Prepares and maintains data on current and prospective investments.

Evaluates long and intermediate term economic and investment trends which may impact the investment returns within a specific sector.

Possess a working knowledge of investment management, including individual equities covering a wide range of market caps and fixed income.

Conducts research and analysis on company fundamentals and prospective opportunity.

Provides written research and financial analysis for use within the investment department and Fund family.

Maintains call/research notes and establishes recommendations for the Funds.

Participates in the preparation and presentation of reports to existing clients and new business proposals.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Proficiency in mathematics, accounting, finance, and economics.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to mentor less experienced colleagues and business partners.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, prospects, and the mutual fund's board.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Proficient with Microsoft products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experienced using financial databases.

Skills in relevant information technology to support portfolio management and business development responsibilities.
