Position summary:The Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for the management of all distribution activities to include incoming deliveries, processing of all outgoing orders, maintaining proper inventory levels and processing cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate within the JDE system. Management of two Fulfillment Operator positions and any temporary warehouse staff assigned as needed.

Educational requirements:

High School/GED

Skills and Experience:

1-year experience in JD Edwards Enterprise 1, MS Excel and Outlook.

2-year experience in shipping and receiving materials

2-year experience creating Bill of Ladings

2-year experience with inventory management

2-year experience in managing warehouse personnel

1-year experience and knowledge of SOX requirements pertaining to shipping, receiving, and BOL's

Good critical thinking skills

Good math skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Demonstrated leadership skills

Demonstrated success working without direct supervision

Demonstrated success managing multiple tasks on an ongoing basis

Essential duties:

Accurately transfer and locate finished sales goods inventory between warehouse locations

Verify accuracy of shipments into and out of assigned warehouses

Load / unload trucks as needed

Monitor inventory levels of varying products and utilize warehouse space accordingly

Pick confirm orders in JDE System

Approve shipment and process BOL in JDE system

Prepare and post daily ship confirmations in JDE system

Verify inventory posted to job and relieved from on hand balance at the end of each day

Audit inventory for location accuracy (cycle counts)

Consolidate inventory to maximize storage space utilization

Resolve inventory discrepancies

Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
