Essential Functions: Measure surface area of ceiling to determine necessary material needed. Accurately cut tiles according to fit specifications in the desired space. Fasten tiles onto the framing Ensure precise installation by trimming the edges of tiles when necessary Safe removal of existing ceiling tiles from premises Speak with clients in an easy-to-understand manner and answer any questions thoroughly Coordinate with other professionals on job-site when additional work or work coordination is necessary Transport needed tools and equipment to jobsite. Follow company and industry safety guidelines and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience, technical skills & attributes required: At least 2 years of experience working with ceiling/acoustical tiles Able to provide own tools Ability to follow instructions Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install ceiling/acoustical tile At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a drug test Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing, bending, or climbing ladders Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
