The Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst is responsible for improving department operations by monitoring key performance indicators and providing the information gathered to the Supervisors/Leads for employee feedback and training. While demonstrating service excellence at all times, this individual is responsible for maintaining Service Excellence standards within all Revenue Cycle applications. The Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst is responsible for evaluating current workflows and developing process improvements to ensure quality and accurate information based on the various Epic applications. The Quality and Training Specialist will provide feedback to each team member and their direct Supervisor and/or Manager with identified errors on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis utilizing Quality Assurance Scorecards. Responsibilities also include identifying and reporting trends and concerns regarding quality assurance metrics, including statistical reporting documentation, and providing data to improve application training material throughout the organization. The Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst maintains quality audit reports for all team members and tracks ongoing performance. Specialist administers Continuous Quality Improvement reviews for new hires before formal quality auditing. Seeks to foster a strong line of communication between all areas of Revenue Cycle, addressing training needs to supervisors. The Quality and Training Specialist should seek to develop a deep understanding of departmental functions and goals to improve educational material in the advancement of education. The Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst will be responsible for conducting regular check-ins with Revenue Cycle leadership and will consistently provide accurate and detailed monthly reports that outline team member error rates, identify error trends for the month, and should develop a strategy to improve workflow via educational training and/or system updates. The Quality and Training Specialist will develop ongoing training modules to increase efficiencies. Key Performance Indicators will be presented with identified training modules and process improvement plans to senior leadership quarterly. Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Training and Quality Manager, the Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst is an experienced training specialist with a solid understanding of business processes, specific Epic Applications, BMC applications and policies, and adult learning styles and methodology. The methodology includes but is not limited to electronic learning modules, electronic assessments (pre and post-training sessions), gap analysis, and PowerPoint presentations. The Quality and Training Specialist participates in the overall development, implementation, and maintenance of a training program across multiple applications, services and departments. In addition, they serve as a direct resource for planning and coordinating Revenue Cycle driven projects requiring Epic training and implementation of new Epic modules. POSITION SUMMARY: The Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst is a resource to assure training tools are well tested, professional, highly usable, and standardized across all applications. The Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst is responsible for developing and communicating proposed training plans to business leads, assigned applications, and department owners. In addition, the Specialist is responsible for executing training as appropriate according to project deadlines. Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst will assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing the training curriculum implementation to meet business owners' needs. The Specialist utilizes their experience to analyze current training plans to identify gaps and offer logical suggestions and/or action plans to mitigate and enhance end-user training. The Revenue Cycle Instructional Designer and Quality Analyst ensures the upkeep of all training environments and serves as the point person for MST rebuild and MST Mitosis for applicable projects. In addition, they act as the end-user liaison, communicating feedback regarding application build and usability to the analyst teams. The training lead works closely with training and project teams to ensure the upkeep of all training environments, intranet content, and classroom functionality. The Specialist is a forward-thinker who identifies opportunities to apply technology to improve business processes within strategic institution goals.
