S&T Bank Summer Internship Program: May 21, 2025 -August 8, 2025.

S&T Bank's Summer Internship Program is a compensated professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical, real-life experience.

Summer internship participants will:

  • Explore careers in the Banking industry,
  • Participate in volunteer opportunities,
  • Join Q&A sessions with Bank leaders and executives,
  • Connect through team building activities and much more!

Hours may be determined based on the needs of the department but will not exceed 29 hours per week.

Internship Program Starting Rate: $13.00/hour

Main Office: 800 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA 15701

Function: Works under the direction of Employee Services management, in a capacity of departmental backup and support, performing assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Services:

Provide general administrative support for the Employee Service Team. Assists in reviewing and improving Employee Service policies and procedures. Participates in special projects. Helps with employee engagement initiatives and internal communication efforts. Updates job descriptions for job postings. Assists in coordinating and scheduling interviews. Screens candidates for job opportunities. Attends interviews alongside Recruiters. Assists in the processing of job offers and new hire materials. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection. Assists with attending job fairs as needed. Assists with special Employee Services sponsored events.

General Duties:

Assumes other administrative duties to include answering phone calls from employees and applicants regarding a variety of requests, creating reports, sort and open mail, creating and posting memos, and ordering supplies. Provides customer service to internal and external customers through answering incoming telephone calls and noting accurate and detailed messages. Researches and resolves questions for both internal & external customers. Possess a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Operates PC equipment as needed to process information, prepare reports and perform research. Enters data into spreadsheets and databases to process and prepare reports. Assists with file room servicing, including document retrieval, filing and copying files. Assists with moving storage boxes and equipment. Occasionally travels to various locations; valid driver's license required. Performs research and/or analysis on special projects, as assigned. Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization. Performs additional duties as required.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Occasional travel may be required.

Education: In pursuit of a four-year degree in business, human resources, information technology or related field.
