- The TMT Activation Solution Engineer is a meaningful role within our pre-sales organization, responsible for driving the technical validation and adoption of our TMT (Telecom, Media, and Technology) solutions, specifically focusing on Agentforce and Data Cloud within the Salesforce platform. This role requires a highly technical and customer-facing individual with strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver, comfortable building Proof of Concepts (POCs) within customer sandbox environments and optimally communicating technical solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development: Design and develop compelling POCs showcasing the value of Agentforce and Data Cloud within the Salesforce platform, tailored to specific customer use cases and requirements. This involves hands-on configuration and customization within customer sandbox environments.
- Customer Engagement: Lead technical discussions with customers, understand their business challenges, and translate those challenges into effective technical solutions. This includes communicating technical demonstrations, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain deep technical expertise in Agentforce, Data Cloud, the Salesforce platform, and related technologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest product releases and features.
- Project Management: Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery of POCs. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to provide feedback on product features and find opportunities for improvement.
- Documentation: Build and maintain technical documentation, including POC plans, implementation guides, and standard methodologies.
- Presentations & Demos: Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our solutions.
- Competitive Analysis: Understand the competitive landscape and identify key differentiators for our solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and ideally, experience with Agentforce and Data Cloud. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Salesforce, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools. Experience with data integration tools and APIs is also highly desirable.
- TMT Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Telecom, Media, and Technology industry and its specific business challenges is preferred.
- Customer-Facing Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish trust with customers and optimally communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to lead technical projects, including planning, execution, and tracking.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve technical issues.
- Hands-on Approach: A "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality and a willingness to get hands-on with the technology.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Agile methodologies.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,850 to $225,260.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,850 to $225,260.
