JOB TITLE: General Clerk III (Code 1810 Front Business Office).

LOCATION: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.

SUPPORTING: Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEP) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).

JOB CATEGORY: Full-Time Service Contract Act (SCA).

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

WORK MODEL: Patrona Corporation prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely. This is an onsite position, and you will work in-person from a Patrona or customer site.

COMPENSATION: This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position, and the hourly rate and health & welfare benefit is based on the applicable Wage Determination.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a general clerk or other equivalent role.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review Outlook Calendar for Department heads on a daily basis.
  • Attend the Weekly Kickoff Meeting. Communication with Department Heads and Division Heads status of work performed, received and additional assignments and tasks.
  • Print the Organization chart, Employee Phone List and On-Site contractor list.
  • Maintain and print the Acting list for Code 1810.
  • Review and update annually all Code 1810 instructions.
  • Review, format, serialize and route for signature all Memorandum of Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding (MOA/MOU).
  • Review, edit, log, assign Serial Number, save, and distribute correspondence.
  • Maintain separate folders for correspondence based on their "markings".
  • Act as Records Management Liaison for Code 1810 with Code 1853.
  • Update PowerPoint slides, coversheets, footers, IODs and MOA/MOUs.
  • Maintain bulletin board with articles, charts and information provided by Division head.
  • Pick up mail and distribute daily.

  • Strong organizational skills.
