Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite for our client in Oldsmar, FL Interested?

Here's what you'll do:

  • Soldering Technician is responsible for performing precision soldering tasks to assemble and repair electronic components and assemblies.
  • The role needs attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work with various electronic components and tools.
  • Perform manual soldering of electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assemblies according to specifications and diagrams.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect soldered joints for quality and defects using magnification tools and perform functional tests to ensure proper operation.
  • Identify and repair defective solder joints and components; rework assemblies as necessary to meet quality standards.
  • Manage and handle electronic components, including surface-mount and through-hole components, with care to avoid damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repair logs and component usage.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues and improve soldering techniques.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 / Hour

Hours: 4/10-1st Shift

Length: Contract (12 months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 soldering
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in printed circuit
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with hand tools used in building circuit card assemblies
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with a microscope
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good computer skills with ability to work from electronic work instructions
