THE JOB:

Jasmine Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a Bus Person! In this role, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest cleanliness and organizational standards throughout the restaurant, ensuring the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up areas, and beverage stations are consistently clean, well-stocked, and ready for service. By maintaining a polished and inviting environment, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences and contributing to moments that exceed expectations.

THE STARTING RATE:$14.2737

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service

• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset any additional tabletop items needed

• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles

• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently

• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed

• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ years of experience in a similar service role, such as Bus Person or Food Runner in a full-service restaurant setting

• Exhibits proficiency in a fine-dining, high-volume environment

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure

• Experience working in a similar resort setting

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
