Water Resources/Drainage Engineering Specialist

STV is currently seeking a Civil/Water Resources Drainage Engineering Specialist for our Transportation & Infrastructure division in our Jacksonville, FL office. This position provides an opportunity to work on a variety of public projects with a focus on transportation design.

Responsibilities include:

* Preparing Stormwater Management designs, calculations, plans, and reports for Transportation Infrastructure.

* Coordinating roadway drainage with various Roadway/Structures Design Groups.

* Environmental Permitting through various state and federal entities.

* Opportunities to play a role in project development with both existing and new clients.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.

* Minimum of 2-5 years of drainage engineering experience.

* Engineer Intern (EI) Certification.

* Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project experience.

* Knowledge of roadway drainage systems, highway culverts, storm water management facilities, and floodplain modeling.

* Experience with storm water and CAD software such as Bentley ORD, ICPR/StormWise, HEC-RAS, HY-8, and ASAD.

* Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

* Ability to build strong relationships.

* Excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn.

* Experience with developing FDOT Bridge Hydraulic Reports is preferred but not required.
