About Marvell

Marvell's semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, automotive, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell is a leading supplier of automotive Ethernet chipsets. Our Foundry Technology team, under Central Engineering, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead Marvell's automotive products from the foundry perspective.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Marvell's silicon foundry partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and mass production ramp of new automotive products. Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing customer RMAs and driving foundry partners to improve defective parts per million (DPPM) rates.

What You Can Expect

  • Serve as the primary technical interface between the foundry, Marvell teams (Design, Product/Test Engineering, FA/QA/Rel, Supply Chain, etc.), and external customers for tape-out, new product introduction (NPI), yield, and quality.
  • Lead the transition from NPI to high-volume production, ensuring a smooth and efficient ramp-up.
  • Identify and mitigate reliability risks and manufacturing weaknesses, proactively implementing fixes before mass production.
  • Optimize process parameters to achieve optimal product performance and stable production supply.
  • Drive device performance optimization, yield improvement, WAT analysis, and process/fab qualification.
  • Oversee inline monitoring, statistical process control (SPC) reviews, and DPPM reduction to maintain high production quality.
  • Address and resolve Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs), quality issues, and customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Work with internal teams to implement robust preventive actions, ensuring issues do not recur.

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering or Science (Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering, etc.); Ph.D. preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor technology development, fab process integration, foundry engineering, or foundry management within IDM, foundry, or fabless companies.
  • Strong expertise in silicon manufacturing technology, yield enhancement, reliability, statistical process control, and failure analysis.
  • A self-motivated team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven engineering problem-solving skills with an execution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
