Job Title: Graduate Intern / Training Assistant / Teaching Assistant Location: San Jose, CA 95118 Duration: 6 months contract Pay Rate : $30.31/Hr. on W2. Job Description: This position will support the training program, specifically the integration of the EH&S training matrixes into the Learning Management System (LMS) in the form of "Learning Paths ", pre-bundled curriculums containing groupings of training. The end goal is that a new user can be assigned by an admin to a grouping of required courses associated with their job title/unit number, removing the constant questioning of if a user is required to complete a given training requirement. This will ease the burden on Workforce Development and the EH&S Team, who have to research the position requirements for every inquiring user. Skills: Update and finalize EH&S training matrixes Input defined classifications training curriculums into the LMS Create learning paths for each position and unit Enter learning paths for all of Valley Water classifications (This requires assigning the corresponding training requirements to the pre-configured list. This requires a lot of data entry.) Add continuing Education Units to the system (This is a manual task that adds the information within the course descriptions.) Update class descriptions. Knowledge, skills and abilities needed to do the job: Ability to work in a team. Ability to work independently. Heavy data entry. Experience with Litmos. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Zoom and Teams.
