Job Details The Director of Ambulatory Operations supports the physician practice management activities of the Honickman Center. The Director functions as a strategic leader of practice business operations and an internal consultant, and also serves as a liaison with the providers and staff in the building and as an advisor to the AVP, Ambulatory Operations on administrative, contractual, long-range planning, third-party reimbursement and clinical operational issues within the building. The Director will oversee critical staffing functions (Patient Ambassadors, Medical Assistants, Honickman Center Float Pool) and will be responsible for flexing staff around the building to align with shifts in staff supply and patient demand.Job Description
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical care management, preferably in a multi-specialty ambulatory setting (or equivalent related experience). Master degree in health care management or business preferred. In lieu of Bachelor's degree at least 10 years' healthcare/practice management experience in an academic setting.
