Valiant is seeking an experienced Subcontract Administrator that will support proposal activities and administration of a portfolio of subcontracts under active IDIQ, Cost-Plus and Fixed Price Prime Contracts in accordance with Valiant's procurement policies and procedures. They will be a strategic business partner to program stakeholders and will support change initiatives and continual enhancement of the procurement function and other supporting tasks as needed.

  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in business management/administration or Supply Chain focus preferred but not required. Years of applicable experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of Subcontract Administration experience within a government contracting & CPSR environment.
  • Ability to evaluate proposals against SOW/PWS/SOW, demonstrate a working knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
  • Highly organized, action and task-oriented performer in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to engage with various stakeholders and all levels (Vice President, Director and Program level associates) with a can-do attitude and strong follow-up on tasks.
  • Must have keen awareness and understanding of changing market conditions.
  • Has an understanding of government rules and legislation, and small business regulations and definitions; This position requires a strong understanding of the FAR & DFARS as it relates to small business.
  • Strong computer skills and excellent working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint related software applications.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Must be able to continually interface effectively with people on the phone, at trade shows, in meetings and other places, as well as internally in Valiant.
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
  • This is a remote position 85% - 95% of the time, but it might require travel to Valiant's Corporate office in Herndon, VA for training, etc., as required.
  • This position requires the number of hours worked per week to be between 40-45 on average, with the possibility to work over the weekend to support program initiatives, proposal activities, corporate projects, etc.
  • Highly organized, action and task-oriented performer in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • This position requires a thorough understanding of building compliant files and following procedures in a CPSR environment.
