SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Supports the identification, assessment, and monitoring of potential risks and opportunities that could impact the organization's operations, financial stability, or reputation. Assists in gathering data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports to help inform risk analysis and development of mitigation strategies. This position supports the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCMS), and Risk and Control (RCM) functions within the Enterprise Risk and Resilience department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

Data Collection and Analysis:

* Assists in gathering and analyzing financial, operational, and market data to identify potential risks and opportunities.

* Supports maintaining risk dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Assessments:

* Supports the evaluation and documentation of business processes to identify areas of potential risk or exposure.

* Supports Enterprise Risk Management risk assessments and Business Continuity impact analyses.

* Supports evaluation of internal controls needed for a good control environment and supports the control certification process for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Monitoring and Reporting:

* Assists in preparing risk assessment reports for management and other stakeholders.

* Assists in monthly, quarterly and annual updates required to maintain ERM, BCMS and RCM programs.

Collaboration:

* Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand business operations and identify risks and controls.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, and work under time constraints.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.

Infectious Control Risk Category III:

The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs. Risk category III states employment and procedures that do not require exposure.
