Job Overview

How You Will Make an Impact:

* Assess training needs onsite and skill gaps to design the training program for the field team.

* Work with the Regional Operations Manager to understand the training needs of the field team.

* Ensure all training needs align with SOPs and company policies.

* Conduct hands-on training sessions for employees related to different process areas as well as any process changes/updates.

* Organize training sessions with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) in different process areas of the logistics team.

* Utilize various training methods including classroom style instructions, e-learning, on the job coaching.

* Build course materials such as slide decks, lab handouts, lecture manuals, assessments, and reference guides.

* Oversee the onboarding program for new hires, ensuring they receive proper technical knowledge before engaging in operations.

* Oversee and implement the cross-training program for the existing employees (field team).

* Maintain the cross-training matrix for the field team.

* Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs.

* Maintain accurate records of training completion, certifications, and ongoing skill development.

* Conduct regular assessments, feedback sessions, and refresher courses to enhance employee knowledge and skills.

* Work closely with Quality Assurance Leads to align training with audit findings and performance improvement initiatives.

* Recommend training enhancements based on field observations and employee performance metrics.

* Work with the Regional Operations Manager and HR to ensure training needs support business goals.

* Liaise with the external training providers or certification bodies when necessary.

* Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in Learning and Development

* In depth knowledge of logistics, warehouse management and inventory control.

* Understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in supply chain and technical operations.

* Familiarity with training technologies, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and e-learning platforms.

* Experience in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training manuals.

* Proactive in identifying skill gaps and developing strategies to close them.

* Ability to track training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms.

* Strong instructional design capabilities to create effective training programs.

* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address operational challenges through training.

* Ability to conduct hands-on, classroom, and virtual training sessions.

* Excellent presentation, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and writing skills are require

* Curiosity and passion for learning.

* Ability to effectively collaborate and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders

* Should have an exemplary customer service mindset, be highly motivated, and a team player

* Ability to convey ideas both verbally and in written form, work independently, and prioritize job responsibilities

* Available and able to travel

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range: $68400.00 - $75920.00 USD

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
