The University of Minnesota Law Library seeks a focused, innovative, and motivated professional for the position of Electronic Resources and Acquisitions Librarian. This position reports to the Associate Director for Collection Development and plays a central role in the Library's efforts to build, maintain, and promote its collections. Professional librarians are hired under the University of Minnesota Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) employee classification system which may lead to promotion and continuous appointment based on successful fulfillment of library duties, published scholarship, and professional participation. About the Department
The Law Library serves a diverse and varied group of internal and external constituencies, and the Electronic and Acquisitions Librarian must show proven ability to think analytically, have meticulous attention to detail, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external audiences. This position requires the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively, and requires a high degree of interpersonal skills and demonstrated strong user-service orientation. The aptitude to contribute actively to the law library profession through both scholarly productivity and participation in professional activities, will prove essential in this role. Pay and Benefits
