Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the smooth operation of week-long, grant funded GenCyber camp under the direction of the camp instructors and site supervisors.

  • Assist with daily check-in and check-out of students.
  • Assist students with various classroom activities as directed by camp instructors and site supervisors.
  • Prepare and distribute supplies for activities and assist in the cleanup of supplies after class as directed by camp instructors and site supervisors.
  • Supervise students during lunch.
  • Assist instructors by ensuring safety of students during walks and tours on campus.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • High School graduate required.
    • Experience
      • Comfortable working with technology required.
      • Desire to support the fun environment and engage with students to enrich their experience required.
      • 1-2 years experience in park district or other summer programming preferred.
      • Some college coursework in education or computer technology preferred.
    • Licenses and Certifications
      • COD Training
        • Compliance Training


      Working Conditions:

    • Telephone and copy machines.
    • Fast paced; varies daily due to programming changes.
    • This position requires a Background check at the expense of the College.

      Classified 3 Hourly - $15.50 per hour/15.50 - 15.50
