• Role: NCR POS Product Engineer
• Location: Dublin, OH (2 days onsite; 3 remote)

We are seeking a Product Engineering Lead with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our complementary team. The candidate will have extensive experience in NCR Aloha POS, OR any other NCR POS experience, Enterprise integration. Experience in Restaurant POS domain, Menu Engineering, Store operations is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can drive product engineering initiatives and give to the company's success.

• Lead the product engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.
• Supervise the development and implementation of POS systems, Integrations and POS Testing strategies to ensure product reliability.
• Provide technical expertise in NCR Aloha POS, OR any other NCR POS experience to guide the team in developing robust solutions.
• Use Postman for API testing and ensure seamless integration of various system components.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align product engineering efforts with business goals.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Implement standard processes in software development to enhance product performance and maintainability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering processes and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all product engineering activities.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Analyze and resolve sophisticated technical issues to ensure smooth product operations.
• Coordinate with partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of achievements.

• Possess a good background in NCR Aloha POS, OR any other NCR POS experience, Enterprise integration, POS Testing with a consistent record of successful implementations.
• Demonstrate expertise in NCR POS to effectively guide the engineering team.
• Proficient in using Postman for API testing and integration.
• Experience in Menu Engineering is a plus providing valuable insights into product development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers fostering a positive team environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products within specified timelines.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to product engineering.
• Strong analytical skills to supervise project progress and ensure successful delivery.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize engineering processes.
• Experience in conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Proactive and self-motivated individual with a passion for product engineering.

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
