Fabrication Technician

Imperial Sprinkler, a partner of Heritage Landscape is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our Imperial Technical Services team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of specialized components, calibration services, and testing procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Pay range: $23 and up depending on experience.

Duties:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery and technical systems.

• Follow detailed technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics for assembly and production tasks.

• Perform quality control inspections to ensure all products meet established standards.

• Work collaboratively with technical staff to optimize production processes, but still keeping productions standardization.

• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.

• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Environment:

• Indoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment and outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions.
• Exposure to moving trucks, vehicles, forklifts, and other heavy equipment. Awareness to your surroundings and others will be essential for your safety and others.
• Heavy lifting and general labor will be required. The ability to safely lift and maneuver in excess of 50 lbs. will be expected.
• Many different jobs and tasks will be required throughout a work day. The ability to take direction from your supervisor and safely work with other team members is required.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the task.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical service environment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and evolving technical environment.
