Overview:

As the Materials Planner for Utilimaster (A Shyft Brand) based in Landisville, PA, you will be accountable for managing work orders, monitoring production schedules, and controlling inventory levels to ensure a smooth flow of materials from fabrication to production.

Core Responsibilities

• Work Order Management: Issue, track, and maintain work orders to support production schedules.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and adjust inventory levels to prevent shortages and support manufacturing needs.
• Production Coordination: Align material availability with build schedules while managing engineering changes.
• MRP Analysis: Analyze daily and weekly material requirements and adjust orders accordingly.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Three or more (3+) years in materials planning in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with strong knowledge of MRP systems
• Ability to analyze shortages, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Purchasing and Operations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
