Job Description:

Zscaler is seeking a driven and motivated Commercial Federal Sales Intern to join our Federal Service Industry (FSI) team. In this role, the intern will gain hands-on experience in enterprise sales within the federal sector, supporting pipeline generation (PG) initiatives and learning what it takes to succeed in a high-performance sales environment.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with members of the Commercial FSI team to support pipeline generation and outreach efforts.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and qualifying federal prospects.
  • Participate in internal strategy sessions and contribute to account research and targeting.
  • Complete Zscaler's internal training and education programs to develop a deep understanding of Zscaler's platform, technical capabilities, and business value.
  • Shadow sales calls and customer engagements to gain exposure to real-world federal sales cycles.
  • Prepare to lead introductory customer meetings by learning Zscaler's sales methodology and value proposition.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service.
  • Obtain approval from your unit commander.
  • MOU must be approved and submitted before start.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong interest in enterprise sales, cybersecurity, and federal markets.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
