Overview:
Our client, near North Caldwell, NJ, is seeking an Account Manager to support the growth and retention of memberships to the organization. A minimum of 5 years in a similar role and experience in the insurance industry is required. The Membership Account Manager is tasked with recruiting new members, managing sales processes, and maintaining high levels of member satisfaction. A strong passion for business development, coupled with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, is essential to achieve both member satisfaction and organizational success.


Description:
  • Recruit and onboard new members to the organization
  • Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell services and attract new clients
  • Clearly communicate the benefits and services offered by the organization
  • Support sales activities including market research, outreach, fee calculations, proposal development, contract preparation, and reporting
  • Maintain and update customer data in the CRM system
  • Understand and explain the organization's programs, pricing structure, and terms
  • Familiarize yourself with governance processes and operational guidelines
  • Ensure that any escalated member concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
  • Assist in planning and executing member retention and engagement strategies
  • Work independently as well as in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and other departments to resolve issues and achieve overall organizational goals

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Experience in sales support, account management, and customer relations
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and its value chain is a plus

Must Have:
  • Minimum of five years in a relevant role
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is required

Salary: DOE $85,000-$110,000 annually

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the referenced salary range ($85 k-$110k) reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
