As a full time, nonexemptCPS Solutions, LLCStaff Pharmacistat Fremont Hospital,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter and verify medication orders and patient information accurately; aid in training of new staff; gather data, interpret lab values, and ensure drug regimens are consistent; update and assist the Director with daily pharmacy activities such as weekly and monthly audits, unit inspections, P&T reports, scheduling, and policy and procedure enforcement; attend rounds and committee meetings as required;collaborate with other departments as needed; engage with providers during treatment team meetings; engage with patients by conducting medication groups, counseling on adverse medication effects, and discharge counseling; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule:This full time, nonexempt position will work 30-32 hours per week on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including 1-2 weekends per month. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 7:00am-1:30pm.

Starting Pay Range: $68-$72/hour based on recent experience.

About the Facility: Fremont Hospital is a private, modern 148-bed behavioral healthcare facility that provides services to adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults. Services offered include treatment of psychiatric conditions, chemical dependency, and treatment of 'dual diagnosis' (co-existing psychiatric condition and chemical dependency). A variety of treatment programs are available, including inpatient care, partial hospitalization (day treatment) and an intensive outpatient program. CPS Solutions, LLS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 7:00am-1:30pm. The pharmacy is supported by Omnicell automation.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
• Experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concern
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1^st-April 30^th
• COVID Vaccine-Full
