STV is seeking an On-Site Construction Manager (Owner's Representative) for our PM/CM Group for a project in Fall River, MA.

The On-Site Construction Manager will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on all construction activity and ensuring that the Owner's interests are represented in the construction process. This will include interacting daily with the General Contractor and Subcontractors and managing communications with designated members of the Owner's on-site staff. This position will include working collaboratively with all members of the project team to facilitate the progress of work and ensure the quality of the work. As an STV representative, this position will involve developing a full understanding of the plans and specifications and the project schedule. There will be close interaction with the STV Project Manager, Architect and Owner on a regular basis including attendance at all weekly project meetings. Requirements

* High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred

* Minimum 5-years' experience of on-site supervision of projects including some experience with building renovation projects

* Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred

* OSHA 30-hour certification

* Excellent communication skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft products

* Ability to fully understand plans and specifications

* Experience ensuring contractor compliance with project quality requirements

Project Responsibilities

* Oversight of construction including on-site observations and daily reporting on progress

* Coordination of testing and inspection

* Monitoring the Contractor's compliance with their jobsite safety program

* Attendance at weekly project meetings

* Maintaining reports, records and plans on the job site

* Monitoring contractor compliance with project quality requirements

* Tracking contractor adherence to the project schedule

* Assist STV Project Manager to ensure architect and owner support of contractor progress

* Assist STV Project Manager with review of the contractor's payment requisitions

This is a 6-month project, and the position is full-time on-site

Compensation Range:

$98,010.59 - $130,680.78
