Job Title: R&D Engineer Location: Plymouth, MN, 55442 Duration: 12 months Job Responsibilities: 1. Provides R&D support for market-released cardiovascular catheters. 2. Conducts feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality to support investigations and/or design changes. 3. Develops solutions to improve product function and manufacturability. 4. Directs support personnel and coordinates project activities. 5. Write and submit Engineering Change orders. 6. Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of development. 7. Investigates and evaluates design changes, manufacturing changes, NCMRs, CAPAs and/or customer complaints. 8. Reviews or coordinates vendor activities to support development. 9. Research various cost-effective, alternative approaches to current designs and processes. Skills: Prior medical device engineering experience in R&D preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Experience: plus 2+ years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area | |
