We are currently looking for an Inventory Management Coordinator in Worcester, MA. Pay: $25/hr

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Manage inventory tasks, including tracking and controlling consumables, chemicals, and samples.
  • Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and monitor slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Provide daily customer service, ensuring effective communication with clients regarding inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Handle purchasing duties such as backorder reporting, expediting shipments, and resolving pricing issues.
  • Coordinate shipping activities, including packaging, documentation, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Use systems like SAP, Avantor, and customer-specific platforms to manage inventory and orders.
  • Maintain safety, performance, and quality standards while updating procedures and supporting service efficiency programs.



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED required, with experience in material handling, inventory management, or customer service. Cross-referencing and inside sales experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of scientific products and services is beneficial, as well as a solid understanding of shipping, inventory, and purchasing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and intermediate computer skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional, positive attitude.
  • High regard for safety, quality, and adherence to protocols and policies.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines independently.
