As a member of the Enterprise Data Science and AI team, you will help us bring the rigor and innovation of biological and clinical data science to the non-R&D portion of the company. Our data scientists will discover the biggest opportunities in our company to increase revenue and reduce costs across our Operations and Commercial organization. Then, they will experiment and track the efficacy of "interventions" to these opportunities as they are implemented in Sales, Marketing, etc. Finally, they will advocate and implement genAI solutions to enhance not only their own workflows, but those across the company to drive productivity and innovation. Our Data Scientists collaborate with and learn from the peers of our larger organization, including biostatistics, bioinformatics, R&D data scientists, and data engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Exploratory Data Analysis on diverse operations, sales, and marketing datasets
  • Researching, building, interpreting, optimizing, and deploying predictive models
  • Design and execute studies that can show causal relationships between actions and improved KPIs (i.e "AB testing" or "Growth Hacking")
  • Data "story-telling" with succinct communication and effective visualizations that translate data insights into actionable business strategies
  • Maintaining a collaborative, well documented, and repeatable workflow
  • Collaborating with other data scientists, and importantly, our enterprise stakeholders

Sought Skills:

  • Organization of large datasets from multiple sources and data streams (SQL, excel, pandas, etc)
  • Modeling of cross-section and time series phenomena (e.g linear regression, function optimization, SARIMAX)
  • Models Deployment (e.g automation, streamlit.io)
  • Machine Learning (e.g SVM, Cross Validation)
  • Cloud environment (e.g Azure, DataBricks)
  • Static and dynamic data visualization (e.g seaborn)
  • Elementary statistics (e.g hypothesis testing, data distributions)

Qualifications:

  • MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or other related field
  • 2+ years of data science experience in a research environment
  • Proficient in Python, introduced to cloud
  • Strong research sense, insatiable curiosity, and a strong dedication to figuring out "why"
  • High Integrity
  • Excellent communication skills, robust workflows, and strong documentation instinct
  • Demonstrated impact through data science (publications, $ saved, etc)
