  • Part-time (approx. ~ 9.25 hrs. per week. Max Hours: 37 hours per month)

  • The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $40.00-$45.00 per hour.


Description

We are hiring a contractor to manage our client's Meta (Facebook) and Instagram platforms. This individual will be responsible for scheduling, drafting, and publishing posts, as well as creating engaging reels and stories using our existing hunting b-roll videography.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Scheduling & Posting


  • Draft, schedule, and publish posts across Meta and Instagram.
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence aligned with our social media strategy.


Content Creation & Curation


  • Develop engaging social media copy that aligns with brand voice and audience interests.
  • Select and utilize appropriate assets (images, graphics, videos) from our content repository.
  • Ensure strategic use of our asset media library (images and video) to enhance content quality and consistency.


Reels & Stories Production


  • Leverage existing hunting b-roll footage to create compelling short-form videos.
  • Edit and optimize videos for engagement, incorporating captions, effects, and branding.
  • Strategically post reels and stories to maximize reach and interaction.


Community Engagement & Monitoring


  • Respond to comments and messages in a timely, brand-aligned manner.
  • Monitor post-performance and audience engagement.
  • Approve collaborative posts from UGC content creators so they appear on our feed.
  • Moderate, approve, or tag posts from external sources to ensure brand consistency.
  • Flag any critical community interactions or trends for internal review.


Performance Reporting & Insights


  • Provide weekly updates on post-performance and engagement metrics
  • Contribute insights to overall social media strategy based on performance trends.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing social media for brands, preferably in the outdoor, hunting, or sports industry.
  • Demonstratable professional or personal experience and knowledge of hunting
  • Proficiency in Meta Business Suite and Instagram scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprout Social is a plus.
  • Video editing experience for short-form content (Reels, Stories).
  • Strong copywriting skills with an understanding of brand voice and tone.


The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $40.00-$45.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
