The SLA division's ORCA Group of SPA is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and technically astute Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) / Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) to work with a team of security professionals in day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will have a high level of understanding of policies, regulations and instructions for working and implementing SCI and SAP security requirements. Performing well in this role requires a can-do attitude with the ability and desire to rapidly learn and become comfortable with all security disciplines.

SPA has an immediate need for a CSSO/CPSO. MC



Responsibilities

    Executes CSSO/CPSO responsibilities in coordination with Lead CSSO/CPSO and cyber team leadership.
  • Manage secure facility in support of classified government contracts and provide oversight of the day-to-day operations, including oversight of the personnel, information, and security awareness.
  • Expertise with ICD 705. Prepare fixed facility checklist for SCIF/SAPF accreditation; consolidates input and prepares supporting documentation for accreditation packages.
  • Develop and implement security control policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), Program Protection Plans, and OPSEC Plans.
  • Conducts annual, and random, security self-inspections of facilities, to ensure compliance with SOPs, DoD Regulations, and ICDs.
  • Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) with knowledge using the Security Information Management System (SIMS) database. Conducts self-inspections, inventories, and maintenance for all classified holdings.
  • Updates and maintains security records for all cleared personnel; process and coordinate Nondisclosure Agreements (NDAs), System Authorization Access Requests (SAARs), Program Access Requests (PARs), and security education and training.
  • Assist COMSEC custodian in the proper handling and control of COMSEC account.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of division initiatives and general security procedures and requirements, including database maintenance and security files to ensure accurate recordkeeping. Submit SCI Nominations and Program Access Requests.
  • Support Risk Management program of IS within secure spaces.

California Pay Range: 90-115k.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or three (3) + years of successful work experience in the U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence or contractor community that includes experience as an assistant or primary CSSO/CPSO
  • Strong working knowledge of DISS and JADE
  • Experience in multiple disciplines within security relating to NISPOM, ICDs, DoD SAP Manuals Vol 1-4, JSIG, and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Working knowledge of SIMS or like software (Document Control Software)
  • US Citizenship and Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
  • Willing to travel on company business (approximately15%)
  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment in a variety of program areas as mission requires
  • Reporting to designated work location at ORCA office in San Diego, CA.
