Description & Requirements

The Forvis Mazars audit team provides services that go beyond the compliance function. This team brings credibility to our client's financial picture, communicates information objectively and clearly, and provides insight to help clients improve their businesses.


How you will contribute:

  • Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
  • Reviewing detailed audit engagement procedures
  • Adequately identifying audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentation
  • Consistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultation
  • Managing multiple concurrent engagements without disruption and within scheduled deadlines
  • Providing staff with timely performance feedback
  • Managing multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needs
  • Building personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities
  • Leading audit committee meetings presentations
  • Participating in speaking and article-writing opportunities
  • Completing required Continued Professional Education hours
  • Traveling to serve clients as necessary

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

  • An aptitude for recruiting and developing firm associates and team members
  • Team and engagement management skills
  • Innovative ideas for servicing clientele
  • Communication skills to effectively relate to people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 7 years or more of relevant audit experience
  • CPA License
  • Experience managing multiple complex client engagements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hospitals, community health centers, and/or long-term care facilities preferred
