Company Details:
Develop and maintain all aspects of the Cubic Defense DTECH Mission Solutions product build, continuous product improvements, design for manufacturing, test, and cost improvements, and support product build and test documentation. Mentor and monitor manufacturing assembly and test staff and advise assemblers, testers, engineers, and managers on all aspects of the product's manufacturing domain. Responsible for performing manufacturing engineering and quality engineering functions through integrating the best quality and manufacturing practices into the developmental and production processes of the company. Performs various professional factory manufacturing engineering work related to product prototype development, transition to low-rate initial production (LRIP), full rate production (FRP) support, and product line close out. Interfaces with and provides technical support to the Production floor, Purchasing, Quality, Suppliers and Engineering (Operations or Design). Works closely with other engineering disciplines. Duties require application of engineering manufacturing principles and techniques. May provide training and/or technical and functional direction to manufacturing labor as well as technical support staff and related departments. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Job Requirements: Enrolled in college for a STEM related discipline. Experience with manufacturing environment desired. Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Internet Explorer). Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Has good problem-solving skills and can work with engineering, manufacturing and procurement personnel to support project requirements. Able to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
