Grade 17 Only *Deadline to apply April 18, 2025 Position Summary
Leads and supports numerous processes related to investments held by 4 Benefit Trusts, including the Pension Trust. Oversees and supports accounting function for the Benefit Trusts, including month-end close and the preparation of complex account reconciliations and associated financial analysis. Coordinates the annual external audit, including preparation of financial statements and related audit schedules and ensuring accounting is consistent with accounting and regulatory standards. Monitors and makes recommendations to strengthen CPS Energy's internal control environment. Leads in preparing and evaluating Requests for Proposals as needed. Evaluates and monitors specific investments, including real estate, and ensures investments are in compliance with the Benefit Trusts' Investment Policy. Tasks and Responsibilities
Oversees accounting processes for the Benefit Trusts including month-end closing, preparation of monthly financial statements, and preparation of reconciliations to ensure accuracy of data. Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities

Advanced Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Accounting, or other quantitative field from an accredited university or at least one of the following certifications: CPA, CIA, CMA, CPP, Certified Treasury Professional, CFA or an equivalent OR extensive CPS Energy institutional knowledge related to posted position in lieu of Advanced Degree or Certification Required Certifications Working Environment
Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Ability to travel between business related events. Work hours may be extended. Physical Demands
