Building Maintenance Technician Location: Littleton, CO Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation Range: $20 - $26 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Job Summary Advantage xPO is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician for a growing, award-winning Fortune 500 company. This role requires a skilled technician with at least two years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building upkeep. The successful candidate will ensure the facility's equipment and environmental conditions meet operational and safety standards. Key Responsibilities General Facility Maintenance Perform repairs and upkeep of walls, floors, doors, furniture, plumbing, lighting, and general building structures. Conduct regular facility inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance on systems and equipment. Complete work order requests, including addressing temperature complaints, general repairs, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation of completed maintenance tasks using the CMMS system. Technical & Equipment Maintenance Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Perform minor electrical repairs, including replacing light bulbs, ballasts, switches, and outlets. Handle plumbing repairs, such as sinks, lavatories, and drain cleaning. Assist with carpentry work, including furniture assembly, cubicle moves, and conference room setups. Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks. Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures. Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations. Monitor equipment conditions, documenting wear and necessary replacements. Support snow removal operations as needed. Why Join Us? A full benefits package will be provided upon hire. Qualifications & Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a certificate or degree from a trade school or college is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities services, or a related field. Valid driver's license. Ability to obtain an active security clearance (Secret level) if not already held. Strong knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts is a plus. Proficiency in using a computer, email communication, and work order systems. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for measurements and project planning. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly. Work may involve standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods. Comfortable working in varying temperatures and rooftop conditions. Must be available for on-call duty, non-standard schedules, and weekend shifts as required. Apply Now!
