ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Responsible for overseeing front desk duties during the night shift including check-in and check out, reviewing guest payments and other details from the day shift to ensure guests provided payment for their stay or any additional requests and acting as a point of communication for customer needs.
  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
  • Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.
  • Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
  • You will reconcile arrivals and departures while processing financial transactions to ensure payment is received.
  • You will resolve guest concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • You will be well-versed in emergency procedures and act as the manager on duty alongside overnight security.
  • Balance rooms daily.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.


REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:



  • A minimum of one year of experience as a hotel night auditor is required.
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English.
  • Marriott brand, service, and systems knowledge is highly preferred.
