Summary of Position

We are seeking a Web Content Editor to join our team in an entry-level role. The primary responsibility will be using ContentStack (a web content management system) to review and quality check newly created pages, update the page accordingly, or assign more complex changes to the appropriate resource. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to track progress effectively while ensuring updates are made without affecting other pages on the website. This is a temporary role needed for 8-10 weeks, that will average 20-25 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure new pages are accurate, complete, and do not cause issues on other pages of the website.
• Update Web Pages: Make necessary updates to web pages based on QA results and as directed, ensuring that content is current and accurate.
• New Page Creation: Build simple pages based off direction from the team.
• Track Progress: Efficiently track work progress using Excel to monitor pages that have been reviewed and approved, and to track issues needing support.
• Reporting: Regularly report progress to supervisors or team leads and address any roadblocks encountered during the task.
  

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) or web editing tools.
• Basic experience with Excel, especially for tracking work progress and organizing information.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure each page is correctly unpublished without disrupting other parts of the website or causing errors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the web team to follow guidelines and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the process

This position will report to the Director, Web Experience.

The base hourly range for this position is between $20.00 and $25.00. Base hourly ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
