Job Title: QMS Project Manager

Job Summary:

The QMS Project Manager supports the global quality team by overseeing all aspects of quality projects, including planning, strategic management, implementation, scheduling, budgeting, simplification, communication, and training. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating project teams, ensuring overall performance, scope, budget, and deliverables. Additionally, the QMS Project Manager facilitates communication between global and local teams, collaborating with stakeholders at various levels to drive project success.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following primary responsibilities account for 95% or more of the work performed. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.


I. Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI)


  • Manage all aspects of quality projects related to QAPI, including planning, oversight, implementation, and evaluation.



  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including internal and external suppliers, to ensure alignment with QAPI processes.



  • Ensure projects adhere to QAPI requirements and standards as defined by the global QMS.



  • Communicate changes to the QAPI process to affected stakeholders and ensure the necessary training is conducted for proper implementation.




II. Clinical Operations, Education, and Quality Staff Management (if applicable)


  • Consult with the clinical team to ensure project alignment with clinical objectives and processes.



  • Develop and implement training for new solutions or technologies resulting from quality functionality changes.



  • Assist the global quality team in developing project management skills.




III. Policies and Procedures


  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.



  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.



  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.



  • Track projects from implementation to execution stages, analyzing short- and long-term goal completion.



  • Collaborate with the RCS Global Quality Director to create implementation timelines across different geographies.



  • Ensure adherence to project timelines by working with the team to meet milestone deadlines.



  • Provide administrative oversight of projects, including planning, financial, and digital asset management systems.



  • Schedule and lead internal project status meetings and reviews.



  • Assess the effectiveness of implemented projects using validated tools such as surveys, cost analysis, schedule adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, and business case achievement.



  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.



  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.



  • Maintain relationships with clients and all stakeholders.



  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.



  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.



  • Meet with clients to take detailed briefs and clarify specific project requirements.



  • Delegate project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.



  • Continuously develop leadership skills.



  • Attend conferences and training sessions to maintain professional proficiency.



  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.



  • Develop comprehensive project plans for clients and staff members.



  • Utilize spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document project need
